Our daughter Amelia was stillborn on 25th March 2006 at 39weeks.

I am a 34 year old married woman with a 2 year old son.  On 4th April this year at 1.25am I was 40 weeks and 5 days pregnant when our beautiful baby daughter, Xanthe, was stillborn.

I had suffered health problems including Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was 26.

On 4th June 2005, our first child, a much wanted son Owen, was born silently into our lives. His tiny heart had stopped beating some 36 hours previously. We were 41 weeks pregnant. 

I became pregnant at 18 and in no way did I think anything could go wrong. I thought that I was invincible.

I gave birth to my first baby on the 14th July 2005. I knew it was a girl from the 20 week scan so she already had her name, Mackenzie Lena. She was 10 days overdue so I was induced in the end.

Tony and I were overjoyed to find out that we were pregnant with our long-awaited first child.

It was Friday 8th of September my birthday and I had an appointment at the clinic with my midwife Wendy.

In January 2004 to my surprise and shock I discovered I was pregnant. It was completely unplanned this as we were busy arranging our forthcoming wedding on 24th April.
