In Memoriam of the sister I never knew
13th December 1952 – 13th December 1952
I should have had an older sister
Of her I never knew
Now I know that sister
Should have been you;
You never even took a breath
In this great world of ours
How I wish you would have lived
Even for a few hours;
Our Mum often told me about you
And how you would have been
The first daughter and Sephton’s twin
So close we would have been;
So still you were, yet perfect too,
When you were born they say
How I wish I would have known you
My big sister, to this day.
