Sands would like to say a huge congratulations and heartfelt thanks to more than 55 inspirational runners who took part in the Virgin London Marathon yesterday, in support of the charity. This was an absolutely fantastic achievement all round.  Thanks also to all of the Sands supporters who ventured onto the streets of London to cheer the Sands runners on their way. If you have been inspired by our marathon runners, and would like to take part in next year's event, entries can be registered from 30th April at www.virginlondonmarathon.com.  It is important to act fast though as places are usually taken within a couple of days.
