Baby Loss Awareness Week is just around the corner, running from October 9th to 15th. We understand that for some, this week is an opportunity to remember and honour their much-loved babies, as well as to raise awareness about pregnancy and baby loss. It's a deeply personal and emotional time.
However, we also want you to know that it's perfectly okay if you don't feel ready to take part in Baby Loss Awareness Week this year. We understand that some people can find BLAW a difficult time. Your feelings are valid, and your well-being matters most.
If you find that this week brings up painful memories or emotions that are too raw to handle right now, please remember that Sands is here to support you. We're just a message or a call away, and our Helpline is always open to provide the assistance and understanding you need.
You can set your own boundaries, whether that means muting related social media posts, opting out of campaign emails, or simply taking some time away from the online world. Your grief journey is unique, and there's no right or wrong way to navigate it.
Please know that you are not alone. Sands is a community of support, and we are here for you, whatever you decide.
